Pick the page that matches your problem
Water damage jobs move through stages, and each stage has its own page here. Some problems need the first stage urgently, such as pumping out a flooded basement, while others begin weeks later, such as rebuilding a ceiling.
If water is on the floor right now, call (508) 446-9244 first and read afterward. The line is answered 24/7.
| Situation | Best fit | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Water is standing on the floor or pouring from a pipe | Emergency water removal | Shutoff guidance, pumps and extraction units |
| Walls, floors or insulation are still wet or smell damp | Water mitigation | Moisture mapping and structural drying |
| A brook, storm or drain pushed contaminated water inside | Flood damage restoration | Category 2 and 3 water, basements, sewage backup |
| Water is out and wet materials need to go | Water damage cleanup | Debris removal, contents sorting, sanitizing |
| The structure is dry and needs rebuilding | Water damage repair | Drywall, insulation, flooring, trim and paint |
| You see or smell mold after a leak | Mold remediation | Inspection, containment and removal |
How the services connect
A typical loss runs through three or four of these pages in sequence. Water comes out first, then the structure is dried, then damaged materials are removed and cleaned, and finally repairs bring the room back.
Skipping a stage causes most of the repeat problems. A ceiling repaired before the cavity is dry stains again, and a basement that was dried but never cleaned after a drain backup can keep a smell for months.
Mold is the one service that sometimes stands alone. It often follows a leak that was dried too slowly, and it usually needs the moisture source fixed first.
What every job includes
Whatever the service, the starting point is the same. We ask where the water came from, how long it has been there and what it touched. Then crews use moisture meters and a thermal imaging camera to see what the eye cannot.
Scope and price are explained before work starts. We keep photos and moisture readings so your insurer has documentation, and we say so plainly when a problem is outside our work, such as a failed pipe that needs a plumber or a leaking foundation that needs a waterproofing contractor.
